Overview:

The application developed automates the on-the floor and back-office operations of a manufacturing unit. The application automates the process right from user management to quote generation to job conversion to manufacturing proceseses to accounts and finally the dipatch. During the course, the system interacts with marketing website to take care of online leads coming in. One application takes care of multiple client's businesses and build independent comprehensive reports.

Problem Statement:

Client has multiple businesses which involves lot of calculations to provide quotes to customers, paper oriented on-the floor operations and hence less staff efficiency. The intent was to automate the process in a way so as to reduce paper based instructions, send quotes efficiently in seconds there by reducing the execution time and hence improving staff efficiency.

Solution:

As a solution have developed a web based ERP system with a common interface for client's different businesses and different database. The solution integrates all major functionalities e.g.

1. UI/UX Design:

Developed application designs in a way that it provides instant information to the stakeholders.

2. Web based backend development:

The backend has been developed using OpenSource technologies . The application connects multiple client businesses with the single interface there by providing the client with instant information about its businesses.

3. API Development:

The RESTful APIs were developed which were secured using token-based authentication implemented over middleware in Microservice enabled Node architecture.

Highlights:

Client's team efficiency increased by 70% while the turn-over increased by 60% as more queries were sent into the funnel for closure and response time was improved.
